Terms & Disclaimer

Effective August 22, 2026

By using Trim My Tax, you agree to these terms.

Informational service only

Trim My Tax is an informational screening and document-preparation tool. It does not provide legal, tax, appraisal, accounting, or financial advice. It is not a law firm, appraisal firm, tax advisor, assessor, or government agency.

Assessment Review Signal

A Strong, Moderate, or Low Review Signal is a screening result based on the assessment values you provide and broader housing-market data. It does not establish the market value of your individual property and does not prove that an assessment is incorrect or that an appeal will succeed.

Market data

Housing-market information may reflect a broader geographic market and may not represent the price movement of your individual property, neighborhood, property type, or taxing jurisdiction.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for verifying all information before relying on or submitting it. Assessment procedures, deadlines, evidence requirements, forms, and appeal rights vary by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements directly with the appropriate assessor or government authority.

Purchased Review Packets

A purchased Assessment Review Packet is generated from information supplied during your Trim My Tax session. You should review and edit the packet as necessary before submitting any material to a government agency. Purchase does not guarantee a reduction in assessed value, taxes, or any other outcome.

Availability

We may change, suspend, improve, or discontinue portions of the service. Data providers and third-party services may also experience errors, outages, coverage limitations, or changes outside our control.
